Training
Training courses take a logical path through the main features of the most popular page layout software Adobe InDesign®, and QuarkXpress®, along with digital photo-editing program Photoshop®. We have accredited Adobe expert status in InDesign with 'real world' experience of the software and we treat trainees as individuals.
Our philosophy is to use no jargon in our training, and you won't be part of a large group watching a presentation (unless you book an 'overview' session) - you will use the software 'hands on' all day and be able to ask questions throughout.
For most standard courses a checklist is provided for every topic to make it easy to track your progress, and hands-on exercises help to consolidate your new skills throughout the day. Starter courses are tailored to give you a solid grounding in your chosen software program.
More advanced courses are customised to your needs and have time built in for recapping basic topics as appropriate. Our aim is to give you confidence to work with the features that you need rather than stuff you full of information that you will never use.
